Dr. Brian A. Wolf is a board certified Neurologist with subspecialty expertise in Clinical Neurophysiology and Epilepsy. He currently serves as the Director of Long term EEG monitoring at Baptist Hospital along with providing general Neurology inpatient care.
Dr. Wolf completed medical school at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He then completed his internship and Neurology residency at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Subsequently, he completed a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology and Epilepsy at the Weil Cornell Medical College in New York City.
A Miami native and fluent Spanish speaker, Dr. Wolf’s philosophy is to provide comprehensive, compassionate, and up to date evidence based care to all of his patients. He firmly believes in the power of fostering a strong patient-physician relationship along with the importance of cultural competence in achieving this goal. He ensures that all of his patients are active participants in their own care and that they fully understand their diagnostic workup and ultimately their diagnosis and treatment plan.
Dr. Wolf provides diagnostic and treatment related services for the entire spectrum of Neurological diseases. Furthermore, he has a special interest in the treatment of refractory Epilepsy, especially those that may potentially be amenable to surgery or neuromodulation such as VNS (Vagus Nerve Stimulator) or RNS (Responsive Neurostimulation). In addition, he is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Epilepsy Society.
