Dr. David Racher is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Neurology and is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He specializes in general adult neurology, including dementia, stroke, spinal disorders, Parkinson’s disease, and electromyography.
Dr. Racher received his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago and his B.A. cum laude from Wesleyan University. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Lutheran General Hospital and his Neurology residency at the University of Miami School of Medicine. Dr. Racher completed an intensive 7-month training in electromyography (EMG) and one year in electroencephalogram (EEG) at the University of Miami School of Medicine.
Dr. Racher is a member of Baptist Hospital’s Non-Invasive Vascular Laboratory, a member of Baptist Hospital’s Stroke Review Committee and a member of Baptist Neuroscience Department Advisory Committee. He is a frequent speaker and lecturer at Baptist Hospital for various neurological topics regarding dementia.
