Dr. Margarita Almeida El-Ramey is a board certified neurologist with a subspecialty in electrodiagnostic medicine. She obtained her medical degree  from Nova  Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine  and completed her post graduate and fellowship training at Cleveland Clinic Florida. She also holds a Master of Science degree in molecular biology.
As a general neurologist Dr. Almeida El-Ramey treats all conditions affecting the nervous system with a special interest in: dementia/cognitive disorders,  neuromuscular disorders, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis and headache syndromes. Along  with colleagues she published a chapter in The Cervical Spine titled Neurologic Evaluation of the Cervical Spine.


Dr. Almeida El-Ramey is a member of American Academy of Neurology, Florida Osteopathic Medical Association and Broward Medical Association.  Currently, she is a adjunct professor for Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and assistant medical director for the Alexander Nininger State Veterans Nursing Home.

In her office Dr. Almeida El-Ramey performs the following procedures: EMG, EEG, lumbar punctures and chemodenervation (Botox) for a multitude of neurological conditions.
